GENERAL DESCRIPTION and TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
The ISO232 is an Async bi-directional RS232 <=> RS232 interface converter for isolated 3-wire RS232 applications (full-duplex point-to-point). The unit has RS232 DTE/DCE selection and a TTL/CMOS connector. The unit has 3 LED indicators, RJ11/12 connectors, and an onboard switching regulator. The unit will operate at speeds up to 115.2Kbps.
The ISO232 is designed for office and/or isolated industrial applications, and is used for 3-wire full-duplex, point-to-point applications. The ISO232 can be used in outdoor applications (limited distance); however, many factors can affect reliable operations.
